Assistant Line Manager (on hold)

Werkzaamheden

As an assistant line manager you have experience and knowledge of charter parties/ chartering and post fixture activities You will be working closely together with the Line Manager and the Turkish partners and following will be part of your day to day activities:

- Prepare and issue indications and offers to clients
- Charter party finalization
- Managing sailing schedule
- Visiting clients together with line manager
- Assisting in sales and acquisition initiatives
- Customer service

Profiel

- MBO/HBO level with a relevant experience in shipping
- A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent communication as well as high social skills.
- It is imperative that your working mentality is of a constructive and cooperative nature.

Our principal offers several (non-container) liner services between Europe and West Africa.

They recently started a new MPP parcel service from the Black Sea and East Mediterranean to West Africa .

The service is operated in joint venture with a Turkish partner and management of the line is performed from Antalya, Turkey as well as Schiedam.

For the new line our principal is looking for an "assistant Line Manager" who supports the Turkish and Dutch management with their day to day activities. The assistant line manager will be located in the newly opened office in Antalya (Turkey).
